Tim O'Brien says he had a pleasure working with clients to furnish their new home in Ohio. The couple wanted to complement the modern elements of this new construction, which consisted of grays and creams, with pops of gold and silver.
The main living area is an open floor plan with a large kitchen adjoining the great room, breakfast nook, office and master bedroom . They sourced furniture with the intent of durability, including: solid alder wood by Lorts, Sunbrella fabrics by Vanguard, stone cocktail table by Sherrill, crypton fabrics for Wesley Hall bar stools, and protected leather by Ekornes stressless chairs. The hand knotted wool MWB rugs, lamps, tables and Christopher Guy mirror brought it all together.
The couple loves the way this turned out. The layout of the furniture gives them an easy traffic pattern and provides a comfortable and durable living space when their grandchildren visit.
