Born and raised outside of Washington, D.C., Emily Kendall grew up surrounded by powerful architecture and interiors. Her childhood dream was to become an interior designer. During grade school, she woke up early every weekend to watch HGTV and create her own version of the challenge at hand, even drawing a “floor plan” at just eight years old for her soon-to-be baby brother. Today, Emily loves working at Furnitureland South, a place where she can utilize her interior design degree and create genuine and lasting relationships with her clients. She works diligently to bring her clients captivating, functional spaces that have the power to change their quality of life. After studying at High Point University and working with furniture manufacturers like Hooker Furniture and Universal Furniture at the High Point Furniture Market, Emily decided to make North Carolina her home. Her motivation is ever-growing because she has successfully turned her lifelong passion for furniture and design into a career.
