About Catherine Hardwick
Catherine Hardwick (not to be confused with famous director Catherine Hardwicke) has been a Design Consultant with Furnitureland South for more than seven years. Before coming to Furnitureland South, Catherine graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, owning and operating her own furniture store for 17 years. With 25 years of industry experience, Catherine has developed an extensive knowledge of color and fabric coordination. She is often the go-to designer for her fellow associates when they are seeking a second opinion. She is a great listener and has an uncanny ability to determine a client’s style. Catherine believes that it is of the utmost importance to not impose her taste on others, removing her client’s fear of making a mistake and guiding them through the whole process of furniture selections effortlessly. Her motto? “Good design is good design - it’s just a matter of the scale you apply it to.”

We recently furnished a newly remodeled house on Siesta Key, FL. My wife and I had done business with Furnitureland South over the past 25-30 years and always had very good experiences. It was always worth the trip from Ohio, New Jersey or Florida to find what we wanted at great prices!

We connected and then met with Catherine Hardwick back in August 2018 to pick out the many items we need (110 pieces). As importantly, I want to complement the two fine gentlemen who delivered our furniture. Quentin Jefferson & Erasto Ponce were total professionals! Perhaps 2 of THE BEST moving men we have ever had. They worked extremely hard, were friendly, polite and took great care moving the many items into our house. They set everything up, asked if furniture was properly positioned and clearly wanted to make sure we were happy when they left.
