The Ultralight Beam series of works on canvas offers a strikingly bold exploration of magnified form, geometric shapes, and the interplay of light and dark rendered on a flat picture plane. Ultralight Beam 3 presents a lighter scene that focuses on sharp angles and strong lines. Flat fields of muted color separated by distinct lines add to the linear feel of this work. A bright beam of white in the lower corner of the work affirms the series’ motif.
