Furnitureland South CEO honored in Power 100 list

Business North Carolina names Jeff Harris one of the most influential leaders in 2020

Jamestown, NC—

Business North Carolina honored Furnitureland South CEO, Co-owner and President Jeff Harris among our state’s most influential business leaders of 2020.

The Business North Carolina editorial team spoke with business professionals from all over the state and curated the third annual Power 100 list from recommendations and nominees they receive representing various areas of influence.

Of the 100 influential business leaders added to the list, the business magazine interviewed 27 of the honorees. Harris spoke with the magazine, and his Q&A was featured in the February issue of Business North Carolina.

Harris noted state-of-the-art showroom renovations, the commercial furniture division and new website-integrated order entry system as the most exciting accomplishments that he and his team celebrated in 2019.

Business North Carolina asked Harris to offer advice to professionals who are new to the furniture industry. He responded confidently, “If they’re a supplier, [then I would say to] develop beautifully styled products at a relative value and deliver it on time.” He went on to address all future competition and said, “If they’re a retail competitor, beware! Furnitureland South is passionate about being the solution for interior design and furnishings.”

Harris said that this honor is as much about the Furnitureland South team as it is about him. “I am incredibly honored to be included with this group of successful leaders,” he said. “This is recognition of the team we have in place and the heritage of those before me, as well.”

Harris also received this honor in 2018 as a part of the first Power 100 list published by the business magazine.
