From Brooklyn, NY to Charlotte, NC, Will Dobbs has called many places home. Having lived in several different states across the US, Will has a unique perspective on the many diverse lifestyles embraced from coast to coast. After earning his bachelor’s degree from Winston Salem State University, where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and named Mr. Winston Salem State, Will began his career working in Fashion and Customer Service for the past 20 years. Today, he uses all the knowledge, expertise, and passion he developed throughout the years to serve his clients at Furnitureland South. Will prides himself on being a very attentive listener and has a focused-but-fun methodology that he adheres to while assisting his clients. His many years of working in fashion and clothing design translates seamlessly into designing home interiors, as well. “Furniture is closely associated with comfort and memories,” Will said. His main priority is to serve his clients to the best of his ability because he knows the impact of well-designed spaces. “I want my customers to feel confident that they’ll receive exceptional service when we work together” he added. Outside of work, Will’s passion for designing clothes still lives on. He also enjoys playing pick-up basketball, traveling to new places, and trying new food.
It was a huge campus, more expansive than I had imagined. Other furniture stores in the area don’t hold a candle to Furnitureland South. We visited several while in the High Point area, and none of them stacked up. The associate that assisted us, Will Dobbs, is a rockstar! He was very personable, thorough, patient, knowledgeable and helpful. What’s more, many of his coworkers spoke very highly of him as we walked through the various showrooms. We came away with beautiful and high-quality furnishings, and we will certainly return to Furnitureland South when it is time to select more. —Kelly F.
