Sue Antonopoulos relocated to Greensboro, NC from a quaint South New Jersey town near Philadelphia. With over 40 years of experience in fashion, merchandising, design, and retail, Sue brings a wealth of expertise to the furniture industry, where she has dedicated the past nine years to crafting exquisite living spaces. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising from Widener University and a Master's degree in Business from Philadelphia University, Sue's academic background is complemented by a Residential Interior Decorating Certification from High Point University. Her passion for design has taken her across the globe, with one semester spent studying fashion in iconic cities like Paris, Milan, London, Los Angeles, and New York. At Furnitureland South, Sue thrives on the opportunity to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and assist them in bringing their design visions to life. With a keen eye for style and an innate ability to find something for everyone to love, Sue ensures that each client's furniture shopping experience is nothing short of an adventure. Outside of work, Sue enjoys indulging in hot yoga sessions, cooking, and spending quality time with her family and beloved dogs.

I could not have asked for better customer service than I got from Sue. She cared enough to truly listen and pay attention to pictures that I sent her of my home so that she could guide me toward acceptable pieces of furniture.
Sue gently guided me when I was having difficulty making decisions, especially when it was tougher to narrow things down towards the end. She clearly understood the parameters of what I wanted to spend for each room. She even FaceTimed with me so that we could work out the positioning of various pieces!
If you are having any doubts about ordering from a distance, don’t hesitate to work with Sue at FLS. For example, when I was unsure if the finish was correct, Sue went throughout the showroom and took pictures of the piece from a distance and close up so that I could have a more exact sense of what I was ordering! My husband and I travelled to High Point on our way home from South Carolina in late March. We had a good idea of what we were looking for and by happenstance were hooked up with Antonopoulos when we entered the store. What good fortune that proved to be!
Sue spent more than half a day with us and we found her to be so knowledgeable and helpful. After spending some time with us in the design center to get a better idea as to what we were looking for, she took us to see a number of different manufacturers selections to help us narrow it down more and ultimately helped us find exactly what we wanted. She loves her job and that shows!
Over the next few weeks we worked with her via email and phone conversations. Sue is a wonderful designer and is so easy to work with. She always seemed to have our best interests at heart. The upshot is that since our visit we have also purchased two power recliners, a leather sofa and matching chair. The leather order arrived today and I cannot tell you how pleased with are with the pieces we purchased. Thank you, Sue!!
