Bio
Born and raised in the furniture capital of the world, High Point, NC, Lauren Horner has a natural passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces. With over eight years of experience in the furniture industry and a degree in Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies from UNC Greensboro, Lauren is dedicated to helping clients design homes that reflect their unique personalities, values, and lifestyles. “I believe furniture is like a wardrobe—it’s an expression of who you are, your values, and how you live,” Lauren says. This perspective fuels her commitment to understanding her clients’ needs and crafting spaces that balance beauty, comfort, and practicality. Lauren offers expertise in space planning, fabric and finish selection, artwork curation, and personalized design guidance. She draws inspiration from the layered, eclectic charm of bohemian design and the clean, functional elegance of Scandinavian furniture, appreciating how both styles create inviting and deeply personal spaces. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, Stephen, and their two dogs, Levi and Oreo. She loves reading, cooking, kayaking, and connecting with friends and family. Since purchasing their 1945 home in 2021, she and her husband have been renovating it, a project that mirrors her passion for transforming spaces into something truly special. Lauren’s goal is to make the design process seamless and enjoyable, ensuring her clients feel confident and excited about creating homes that feel uniquely their own.
