Grady Cannon comes to Furnitureland South from Richmond, Virginia with an extensive history in residential and commercial design. Her great grandfather was a furniture maker, so Grady’s fascination with furniture came at an early age and has since grown into an appreciation for handmade, quality pieces. Grady received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in Interior and Textile Design from Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina and has worked in the design industry for 24 years, including the Historical Preservation Society of Richmond, VA and Charleston, SC.
When you work with Grady, you can expect to have a memorable experience where your design dreams become reality with the help of her expertise. She will walk alongside you as you select the perfect furniture for your home and ensure that you have made the right decision for your style. While she enjoys working with traditional styles and combining older or antique pieces with newer designs, Grady is well-versed in furniture and is guaranteed to find exactly what you’re looking for.
Grady believes furniture reflects a person’s inner and outer self and has the ability to personify that into their home; therefore, it is her goal to make that happen. Outside of work, Grady dabbles in fine arts painting, loves learning new home improvement and landscaping skills, traveling to see her children and spending time with her animals.
