Dawn Williams

With over 20 years of design experience, Dawn Williams helps clients create beautiful, comfortable homes that feel thoughtfully planned from room to room. As an Interior Designer and Project Manager at Furnitureland South, Dawn works with clients on everything from a single-room refresh to complete whole-home furnishing projects, including new construction, second homes and vacation properties.

Dawn’s approach begins with understanding how her clients want to live in their homes. She combines space planning, furniture selection, color and fabric coordination, rugs, lighting, accessories and finishing details to create interiors that are cohesive, functional, and personal.

One of Dawn’s specialties is helping clients make confident furnishing decisions before a home is complete. Using floor plans, measurements, and scaled furniture layouts, she can help determine appropriate furniture sizes, placement, and flow before selections are finalized. This is especially valuable for clients building a new home, relocating or furnishing a property from another state.
In addition to design guidance, Dawn helps manage the many details involved in furnishing a home. She works with clients throughout the selection and ordering process and assists with coordination, product details, delivery planning, and the overall project timeline.

Dawn has worked on residential projects throughout the United States and internationally, including primary residences, second homes, coastal properties, mountain homes, condominiums rental properties and turnkey furnishing projects. Clients may work with her in person at Furnitureland South, virtually, on-site or through a combination making the design process accessible regardless of location.

Dawn studied interior design through the New York Institute of Art & Design (NYIAD) and is a member of the Interior Design Society (IDS). Her combination of formal design education and decades of hands-on experience allows her to guide clients with confidence through both the creative and practical sides of furnishing a home.
For Dawn, a successful design is more than selecting beautiful furniture. It is about creating a home that feels connected, functions well, and reflects the people who live there.
