Grace specializes in various styles of homes, including beach houses, mountain homes, mid-century modern designs, and traditional residences. She loves exploring different styles and can always add a touch of edge and funk while maintaining a classic and elegant aesthetic.

Grace Williams is a proud first-generation immigrant, born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. Her artistic journey began at Sun Hwa Arts School in Seoul, where she studied the arts before earning her degree from Northwestern University. With a unique blend of cultural insight, translation skills, and a natural talent for simplifying complex ideas, Grace has found her true calling in interior design.

After joining the team at Furnitureland South, Grace continued to invest in her education, earning a design certificate from High Point University and becoming an active member of the Interior Design Society (IDS). Her expertise spans a diverse range of furniture brands, quality levels, and styles, enabling clients to make confident, informed choices tailored to their lifestyle and aesthetic.

Celebrated for making the design process enjoyable, collaborative, and seamless, Grace believes that a home should serve as a stylish reflection of its inhabitants. She can help clients move from the north to the south, and from the west side to the east side, adapting to any style. Her goal is to create classy, personalized spaces that feel livable and ready to host at any time—whether it’s a charming beach house in Florida, a mid-century modern home, or a serene mountain home on the West Coast.

My clients recently moved from Florida to South Carolina, bringing with them an appreciation for Florida’s vibrant colors. However, the color palette in Charleston is quite distinct. I carefully coordinated the colors to preserve Charleston's historical charm while integrating a mature yet colorful aesthetic that complements the area's unique character.

The client visited the store with a vision of creating a California modern aesthetic with a Southern twist. We aimed to honor the home’s architectural integrity while introducing a lighter, more airy California modern feel.

Knowing there was strong competition in the area, the client and I chose a bold exterior color paired with copper outdoor light fixtures to make a standout first impression. I had creative freedom when it came to the bedding and rugs, so I infused my personal style to add a fresh, playful twist to classic pieces.
