This Rio Grande vacation home and rental property in Puerto Rico sought contemporary furnishings for its guests and Mary Myers brought that vision to life. It was important to Mary’s client that the furniture for this beautiful villa be comfortable and fun. “From Phillips Collection, we chose a river stone cocktail table for the living room and a side table made of reclaimed bicycle parts for the den since her husband is an avid cyclist,” Mary said.  The nightstands in the master bedroom are from Caracole and have built-in accent lighting. The project also includes furniture from Lexington Home Brands, Bellini Imports, BDI, Universal and Bernhardt. During the design process, Mary and her client became friends. In fact, she and her husband were invited to stay at this relaxing and decadent villa on vacation! From experience, she can say that the resort is absolutely beautiful and grants its guests a wonderful escape!

The Santa Rosa mountains in Southern California provides the perfect backdrop for the magnificent home design that Design Consultant, Mary Myers had the pleasure of furnishing. Mary's clients preferred warm, neutral earth tones in order to compliment the architectural elements and scenic views offered in each room. In the great room, high-backed Highland House sofas were selected because their scale worked well with the twenty-foot ceiling. A pair of decorative-backed Pearson chairs provided additional seating. Beautiful inlaid tables by Henredon and Emerson Et Cie complete the Old World style. In the dining room, an oval Century hand-planed table was selected which offered an organic feel and finish. The dining chairs combine fabric and leather to create a natural feel and look. These pieces were all anchored by a hand-knotted rug by M.W.B. Designs. This was a favorite project for Mary — the luxurious and expensive qualities of the home truly allowed for a great design partnership between Mary and her clients.
