On our recent visit to Furnitureland South in June 2021, my husband and I had the pleasure of working with Samantha Sanders. Samantha began the process with a meeting in which we described our decorating style, prioritized our need’s and discussed our time constraints. She asked pertinent questions and made careful notes of our conversation. She let us know that she was willing to provide us with as much or as little assistance as we were comfortable with. She would tailor her style to meet our needs. For her to recognize the differences in the shopping styles of different customers and offering such flexibility is remarkable and is just one of many things that sets her apart from other salespeople.
We set out walking through various sections of the showroom that contained our decorating style. Let me point out that Samantha did not waste our time showing us areas that were not applicable to our decorating style. She did point those areas out but guided us to certain vignettes that she knew would be to our benefit. When later we had a chance to walk unescorted through those other areas, we remarked on how correct Samantha had been, how well she knew the showroom and how grateful we were that she kept us moving in the right direction and did not waste our time.
As we searched the showroom with Samantha, she would often refer to her notes and gently yet firmly keep us on schedule with making decisions. She would offer her opinion when solicited and assisted us in considering all options, which gave us confidence in our decision making. She was professional at all times, professionally dressed, punctual, fully prepared, friendly and willing to share her superb decorating talents. Her assistance was essential, and she consistently led us to just the right items, even including picking out custom material, which can be a mind-boggling task.
Several times we had questions that were not easily answered. Samantha was so organized that she had the contact information of all the reps at her fingertips and was able to quickly get answers, enabling us to make informed decisions right on the spot. That saved us considerable time, and within one day we had over half of our list accomplished.
Samantha went above and beyond, personally searching the floors for some of the smaller items of décor that we decided on.
At the end of our trip, when it came time to place the order, Samantha was very clear on the process. She was able to take advantage of many of the manufacturer discounts and saved us thousands of dollars on our overall purchase, making us feel that our trip to FLS was a tremendous success.

When we walked into the Showroom, we were warmly greeted by Ms Sanders. She was personable and upbeat. She gave us a Furnitureland South brochure and her personal contact information. We discussed what types of furniture we were interested in seeing. She suggested places in the Showroom and also suggested that we look in the Mart and Outlet as well. After a few hours of looking, my sister was able to narrow down her choice to a leather sectional in the main building. We called Ms. Sanders' cell phone number and she met with us personally in the Leather Gallery to discuss our options in furniture pieces. Our experience with Samantha was fantastic! We visited last week on Friday looking for furniture for the first time for our new home. I had been in contact with her for a couple of weeks leading up to the visit and from the start she was extremely helpful and informative. We went into the process with no ideas or anything and she guided us so well and provided us with ideas before we even arrived. Once we got there, she was even better! She took the entire day to help us pick out the items we were looking for and was so patient with us since we didn't exactly know what we were looking for. We picked out so many great pieces and ended up learning a lot about what we like, and don't like with her help. She is so kind and personable!!! My husband and I recently bought a home in The Cliffs, SC. We were at Furnitureland South last week to purchase furniture for the house. We were very impressed by the facility, the quality of the furniture, price, design choices, and the beautiful campus. We ended up buying many rooms of furniture and have more on our minds for future buys. We were so happy with our Design Consultant, Samantha Sanders. I did a lot of research on the internet and everybody has always told me furniture's made in North Carolina. I kept looking and I saw this place called Furnitureland South. I had to look at it, I had to continue my research and it just blew everything out of the water, this was the place to go. It's a wide, wide selection a mass selection. Which is what we wanted, you know, so we're happy to be here. We're doing an entire new home, our forever home. Four bedrooms and thankfully, we have someone to help us like Samantha, because basically it's really really confusing. We were fortunate enough to, have her pick up the phone, when we called, to ask questions and I think we were just put together by faith. She has been with us from day one, until now and we believe we're going to be with Samantha as our consultant beyond now because, we're coming back! So far I found couches, which was one of my big ones, like what kind of couch do I need? Do I need two couches? Would one do? Is two, too many? But with Samantha's expertise and she's laid it out here, you know it I feel very confident that it will look simply gorgeous.

I have been a dedicated client of Furnitureland South ever since my first visit that took place there around 2010-2012. Over the years, I have furnished many rooms for my home in Florida, as well as my home in New York, and would never consider shopping elsewhere, in the US. In my opinion, FLS is by far, the best in the country!
My most recent visit to FLS began in 2019, when I wanted to furnish my newly-constructed 2 bedroom, plus open office area condo.
I have been working on furnishings ever since, with my final order placed just last week. With that being said, what prompted me to write this testimonial was my interaction with Samantha Sanders, who was assigned to me as a design consultant. She has been an amazing consultant to work with, and has been my guiding light in my goal to complete all furnishings to have a beautiful home, that I can proudly and comfortably live in.

At the recommendation of my mother in law, who outfitted her entire home from Furnitureland South several years ago, my husband, father and I made the trip from VA to NC. I made an appointment with a Design Consultant and was given Samantha Sanders. She did not disappoint. 1. Your furniture “store” is simply amazing. The variety, layout and range of quality/pricing is outstanding! 2. From my first phone call with Samantha, I knew I was in good hands. I explained to her I was buying a new home, would be closing soon and needed all the “big stuff." She asked if I could send a few pictures of my style, and when I showed up on Wednesday, she had my pictures printed out and was ready to go. At first peek, I was OVERWHELMED. But Samantha did a phenomenal job helping me navigate through what fit my style, helping me in narrowing my choices. She explained she’d stay with me as much as or as little as I needed. What I thought would be three days of indecision, we were able to narrow into about seven hours of focused shopping with selections I am SUPER excited about. At no point did I feel pressured to buy. Instead, I felt like I was shopping with my “girlfriend!" This made the whole experience completely delightful. She was so engaging that both my husband and father were enthusiastic about the experience and kept up! Bravo to Samantha! I can’t wait for my pieces to arrive, and I will work her again to help me pull together the rooms after the larger pieces arrive. On Monday, March 6, my daughter, son-in-law and I spent the entire day with Ms. Samantha Sanders. It was a wonderful experience because of Ms. Sanders's professionalism, her knowledge of the Furnitureland South inventory, and her passion for helping others. My children are first-time homeowners and were excited - and a little nervous - about selecting living room and kitchen furniture. Ms. Sanders greeted us joyfully as she thoughtfully explained the Furnitureland South story and purchasing process. She helped them apply for the 12-months-same-as-cash credit offer. This relieved them about their anticipated budget and allowed them to meet their purchasing priorities. I am confident Ms. Sanders exceeded any goals she had for her daily steps on that day as she patiently walked us through the extensive showroom. She wanted my children to be certain they made the best choice for the vision for their home. She even contacted representatives for a few of the purchases to learn about fabric grades and cleaning options - two important details as they are expecting their first child - and to explore design considerations so they could get the best choice for their kitchen set.
