After attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and studying fashion design, Moochee Lee decided the Triad was a place where his design skills and eye for style would flourish. As a genuinely caring Design Consultant, Moochee creatively designs client’s homes to serve their households well. For him, interior design is fulfilling because it has a tangible effect on people’s lives. It makes him happy to know they smile when their home is comfortable, stylish, and practical. Moochee has a positive and hard-working attitude and knows that these characteristics are useful tools – just as useful as his interior design knowledge and digital literacy. Whether Moochee is spending time with his family of eight, cooking Asian cuisine, or scoping out a local spot down the street, he’s always looking to learn something new. Moochee speaks English and can understand Hmong.

We are re-doing the main floor of our house to include new flooring, paint, new lights and fans, and new furniture. We wanted to check out Furnitureland South, so I looked at their website and read through the bios of lots of their design consultants. Something really stood out to me about Moochee Lee and it felt like he would be a good fit for helping us figure out what we wanted.
Moochee responded right away after I contacted him and we talked on the phone as well as texted back and forth a bit. I sent him pictures of our space and made an appointment to meet him at the store. Moochee was fabulous! We had vague ideas about what we were looking for but he had broad knowledge of design and the store's inventory and helped us find the perfect couch, chair, ottoman, recliners and a beautiful rug to tie it all together.
He listened to what we wanted and had great ideas for us. He worked hard to make sure that all the pieces we picked out worked together and worked with the flooring and paint samples we brought in. We are a design and home renovation company, and we thoroughly enjoyed working with FLS to meet our client's needs. We collaborated on a very large interior design project for international clients. We specifically worked with two phenomenal sales and design consultants, Cassandra Townsend and Moochee Lee. Working with both of them was an incredible experience.
Moochee & Cassandra were professional, courteous, and had a wonderful sense of humor. We had a wonderful time selecting each piece of furniture for every room in a 3500 sqft lakefront property on Lake Norman. Furnitureland South is kind of near and dear to my heart just because from a legacy standpoint my mother and father shopped there for years. We practice what we preach, so as soon as we came back to the area we were looking for furniture, Furnitureland South was on the top of our list, so, you know can't beat the selection. When we started the project about three and a half months ago we really were looking for something that was a mix of traditional and contemporary. With the sunroom you really have to consider obviously the amount of light that's coming in and we really wanted to keep it bright and just light in here. So it was the first time we've actually worked with a designer for Furnitureland South Moochee was very instrumental in kind of riding the ship. To go into Furnitureland South can be a bit overwhelming if you've never been and his selections and choices were dead on so we had a great experience just working with him. So my clients really value quality and we wanted to make sure that we featured Lexington Home Brands in here. To actually see something that is on paper with fabric samples and you know tear sheets and you kind of have a general idea of what it's going to look like, but then when it finally comes together it's a kind of a wow factor, so I will say this has been probably one of the best experiences we've had in terms of furnishing a home over the years and can't wait to continue the process.

We began working with Moochee Lee by securing an appointment to visit Furnitureland South in order to furnish our new home, that was under construction, in FL. We had visited FLS 20 years earlier and fully furnished our home in NY.
Moochee interviewed Tanya via telephone to determine her tastes and our budget prior to our visit; communication and prospective ideas were shared via email. Upon our arrival at FLS, Moochee was well-prepared and showed us many of the options that had been previously discussed. In several instances the options were perfect fits and made our shopping quick and easy. In cases where alternatives needed to be explored, Moochee worked diligently to keep our overall design ideas and budget in mind.
His expertise and understanding were very helpful in streamlining our shopping experience. FLS is a huge facility and had grown even larger since our last visit, so having someone as professional as Moochee Lee made what could be an overwhelming experience, very pleasant. Tanya and I would not hesitate to visit FLS again and would insist that Moochee be assigned as our design consultant!

We needed a LOT of furniture for our new home and we were not disappointed. If you are going for an actual reason not just to browse make sure to have a designer help you — they will SAVE you. Moochee was amazing, we told him our budget and he brought us right where we needed to go. This place is over 1 MILLION square feet so it can be overwhelming doing it alone! Furnitureland has soooo much to offer and we can't wait to see our pieces when they arrive! —Danielle W.

Furnitureland South can be really overwhelming and difficult to navigate, but Moochee did a great job of explaining the layout and even took the time to listen and understand what I was looking for. My experience working with Moochee Lee was one of the best furniture shopping experiences I’ve had in my adult life. Furnitureland South is located several hours from my home, and therefore presents a challenge in being able to return to the store to browse on multiple occasions. When we arrived at the showroom, we were overwhelmed by the shear size of it, and dizzy from all the varieties of furniture we saw in just one small area. We were desperately searching for a living room set, as the original we had ordered from another supplier had been delayed by over 6 months due to COVID and ultimately cancelled.
Moochee approached us with a pleasant smile behind his mask and began the conversation of what would suit our needs the best. What struck me is that he did not form an opinion until he knew a little more about us, and what we really wanted in a new living room. He then proceeded to move us around the showroom, being sure to give us options, but skipping the sets that didn’t fit our description. It was clear he was shopping for what we wanted to buy, not what he wanted to sell. We left that day with a stunning and comfortable leather 2-piece sectional that was delivered well within the time frame it was promised at a great price!
We didn’t find an accent chair that really appealed to us that day, unfortunately. That wasn’t a problem however, because Moochee became my own “personal shopper” who communicated with me regularly as he kept in mind the additional needs for a particular swivel chair to complement the leather couch we purchased. He carried around the swatch and on many different days over the next 4 weeks he would send pictures of chairs he thought we might like. Finally, we found the one that was perfect, and it was delivered a few days later at no charge.
We absolutely love our living room now that it is comfy and stylish with the help of Moochee. He may be at the start of his designing career, but he already has a good eye and a great ear to listen to the customers’ needs. That’s hard to find these days!
