My husband and I traveled to your beautiful furniture store just recently and worked for almost two days with Emily Taylor and Brittany Horton. They were SO helpful and we bought thousands of dollars' worth of furniture. We live north of Houston and our home was flooded when Hurricane Harvey came ashore and decided to set up residence there for a few days. We lost almost all of our furniture because we have a one-story home. Coming to visit your store and your beautiful state last weekend lifted our spirits so much. I am still speechless as to the wonderful care, concern and determination that Emily Taylor & Brittany Horton gave to us. The anticipation of our new  furniture will cap off over a one year renovation of our 18 year old home.  Our home is a bit over 5,000 sq. ft. and it has been an overwhelming task from the beginning — 18 years ago that is!

Over the years I made several attempts to furnish our home — with lots of mistakes — which added to lots of time & money loss. I have a beautiful home that we built with great bones & design features, yet I would never entertain anyone but family because it “looked so unfinished inside”.

I have worked with local designers, only to have the job piecemeal. I had in my mind & with lots of photos what I wanted — yet it was anything but that… I might add we had made a trip to the High Point area about 10 years with some purchases — but again no continuity.

As we began our renovation, Kaz & I thought we would work with a nice store in Florida — since our kids live there.  We spent one trip furniture window shopping & then decided on a store & designer to work with. We made another trip down, and after 5 days — and I sent the exact same plans and package to them as I did Emily— nothing was done — designer never even opened it & then was a bit too busy with life not necessarily sales…after 3-4 weeks and still no pricing form the Florida store  I got online — which is how I got to Furnitureland South.

Emily responded to an online chat with pricing for my sofas I picked out in Florida — and within an hour I had pricing form her… again I only reached out for the sofas…. a bit skeptical to try another person especially out of town since our last trip to Florida cost quite a bit in travel funds.

A phone call followed and Emily was amazing! Very informative with a few suggestions to up my quality & possibly even lower my cost… again she only thought I was looking to purchase two sofas.  I got back online, saw her bio & her design work that FLS published on their website and was "WOWED".  I showed it to Kaz & he too liked it. SO THEN, I called & told her my story as above & stated I truly needed a house of furniture — so that I could have the home I envisioned when we designed and built it 18 years ago!

My biggest impression is when I saw everything I sent laid out on 3 tables in the design center, and that it had actually been reviewed before I got there… Emily introduced us to Brittany who too was amazing.  These two women went above & beyond our wildest dreams… we were in awe.

We had an amazing time; laughed a lot, walked a lot, talked a lot & learned a lot. WOW — our home was coming together….a nd these two women persevered… they never stopped & never complained. I truly knew they wanted the best for us and our home. 

Our vision was enhanced by the wonderfully skilled team of Emily and Brittany.  We can’t stop telling anyone who will listen what a great experience it was. I LOVED everything. These ladies understood we had a budget and guided us as to where and how we should spend our dollars. We agreed to come back to accessorize— I truly want this to look spectacular because I have waited so very long… and have complete faith as to what Emily will help us with.

So my very complements to the wonderful experience we had at FLS.  After my previous experiences — or lack of them — I thought maybe I was asking for the impossible — and maybe I was— yet Emily & Brittney never once let me down.

This is an enormous showroom—wouldn’t have been able to accomplish what we did without their guidance & the pre-planning. On my recent trip to Furnitureland South, I had the fabulous fortune to work with Emily Taylor who exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds!!

Emily’s design expertise is truly astounding and I trust her guidance completely. She pulled together the most incredible fabric and color palettes for my custom build home, bringing the outdoor colors inside in a very restful and luxurious way!  Everyone who sees it, loves it!!!

Also, Emily was not satisfied if I just "liked" something. She persevered with different options until she found the one I ”loved” and there was never any pressure of any kind. I felt that Emily truly listened and understood what I wanted, even if I wasn’t very good at articulating it.

All day long, Emily’s actions consistently and in so many ways, went above and beyond the call of duty and she clearly demonstrated the lengths she will go to give the best buying experience possible.

The experience that my wife and I had at Furniture Land, was so wonderful. Emily Taylor and Brittany Horton, made the whole experience, not only successful but fun… These two consultants are so talented and professional, words cannot explain how great they are… We have a contract on a lake house and needed to furnish the complete house. After I let them know the style, design and colors I liked, they put together a Power Point deck showing furniture that would look good in each room. I really enjoyed going over the slides and picking out furniture that I liked. My fiancƒÂ© and I had very different tastes in furniture and our designers did a great job of helping us find something that we both liked. We planned a trip to Furnitureland South to find furniture for our new house in South Carolina, and we chose the design team of Emily Taylor and Brittany Horton. Brittany and Emily explained their process and asked us our vision for our new home and worked with our existing floor plans.
