Madeline Laird says the greatest part about being a Design Consultant at the world's largest furniture store is being able to impact part of someone's life and bring joy to them on a daily basis. For her clients, furniture is personal. It's something they'll see or touch every day in their homes. "It lives with you, grows with you," she said. "Trusting someone to help you accomplish your vision for furniture can be a very intimidating task, so I strive to be a welcoming and open person as their dreams come to fruition." Her unique experience as a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and a fashion retailer aids her design eye for color, style, and cohesion. She said, "I want to give every customer a special and unique experience catered to them and their needs," she said when asked about her client's experience at Furnitureland South. In Madeline's spare time she loves to care for her two dogs of her own; however, she also makes time for a few other furry friends who are still waiting on their "furever homes" as an animal shelter volunteer.
