Bio
With a love for interior decorating and design and informal study in the field, Anne Harris joined the Furnitureland South design team with a fresh perspective and an eager attitude. Her formal degree is in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing, which she earned from the E. Claiborne Robbins School of Business at the University of Richmond; however, her true passion has always been to create beautiful spaces! Before moving to NC and joining the team at Furnitureland South, Anne ran her own decorating consulting business, working with clients to create spaces that were beautiful, balanced, and functional. She also worked for The Closet Factory for several years as an advanced designer creating custom furnishings and storage solutions, including custom-designed home offices, entertainment centers, garages, dressing rooms, pantries, attics, and many unique storage spaces. Some of her most practical experience was obtained while serving as a Decorating Consultant for Not Just Draperies - a high-end fabricator in Richmond, VA. When not working with clients, Anne assisted in the studio making all types of window treatments, pillows, cushions, bedding, table covers, and accessories. She loves painting furniture, lamps, frames, sconces, chandeliers, and anything else she can find that has beautiful lines and unique detailing. Her signature style is casual elegance, and she especially enjoys decorating coastal retreats.
