An exceptionally well carved mahogany console table, the rectangular figured brown marble top above a walnut burl veneered frieze with fine repeating lobe carvings, centred by a shell motif flanked by acanthus leaf scrolls, on cartouche carved cabriole legs terminating in claw and ball feet.Inspired by an Irish original, circa 1760.
