I really enjoyed working this Patio home remodel in WNC. This patio home was more than 20 years old. My team & I Completed a partial kitchen remodel to include a home office, breakfast knook, laundry area, & broom closet. This client was a retired Food scientist. She was extremely organized. She loved her vintage Charleston Forge Bistro set, one of her first purchases in WNC. We utilized her bistro set in her new remodel. I encourage my clients to use their collections & furniture pieces in their home designs.
We recovered her husbands favorite chair in her bedroom, I designed a new bed for her motion mattress with her top of the bed ensemble with a fabric she loved.
In the great room we custom designed a Charleston Forge dining room table with a hand planed top as the centerpiece for her dinner parties & the "Hendersonville Country Club", feel for her game nights & social gatherings. The chandelier was a vintage piece she adored.
I redesigned the living room with a custom sofa & chairs in her favorite fabrics to coordinate with the artwork she had collected. Her stunning cocktail table & antiques were utilized in her project.
In the sunroom we created a reading knook, and added another Charleston Forge bistro table with parsons chairs for her game night & home entertainment needs.
She loved to sew, & in her attic craft room she wished to use as a loft guest room. So we did custom headboards & top if the bed & utilized her collections too!
This client inspired me in such a way to see that at any stage of life you can have fun!
