About Stephan Lomax

Stephan Lomax considers home to be wherever her family is. With a general contractor as a father, Stephan was exposed to the inner workings of home design at an early age, and, lucky for Furnitureland South, it stuck! Stephan received her Interior Design degree from Randolph Community College and later returned to earn a degree in Graphic Design. She has worked in the furniture industry for 14 years - from steaming and bed styling for designers to working the High Point Furniture Market - and strives to be a lifelong student, absorbing and learning something new about the industry every step of the way.

When you work with Stephan, you are guaranteed to feel at home. She understands the goal of interior design, which is to express oneself, and she will guide you along as you discover the best ways for you to do so. Not only is Stephan passionate about furniture; she is also filled with furniture knowledge that will exceed your design expectations.

If you are unsure of what style you wish to go for, Stephan is an expert at piecing together different elements of various styles to create a true masterpiece. She loves being able to tell stories through the use of different styles and will help you do the same! When she is not designing, you can find Stephan reading, doing any number of outdoor activities (wake surfing, water and snow skiing, boating, horseback riding and exploring) or spending time with her family - including her daughter, two rescue dogs, Maximus and Zeppelin, and a cat named Palmer.
