Lee Crutchfield discovered his passion for design as a child — when his grandmother would return from her daily errands she would be surprised that all the furniture had been rearranged! Lee's passion for the industry continued to grow and finally took over 15 years ago when he started designing personal and model homes. Lee has a love of color and bold styles, yet he can appreciate cool and calming settings, as well. He has a flair for a truly eclectic design palette and enjoys working with his clients to find the perfect piece to make them happy. Lee can do it all — from space planning, selecting and working with fabrics, finishes and textures, he embraces his exacting personality. His personal and professional interest in design has taken Lee in many directions. From dinnerware to full installations, to participating in Charlotte, NC's spectacular HomeArama — no project is too big or too small. For Lee, it's not just about the project; it's about building a relationship and fully understanding the wants and needs of the customer. My husband and I traveled to Furnitureland South last spring to furnish a condominium we had just purchased in Florida. We were met at the door by Lee Crutchfield and started on a project that was way bigger than we had anticipated.
My husband and I enjoyed working with Lee very much. He was patient, honest, and by honest I mean he would say no to something he felt was wrong, and delightful to work alongside. His eye for paint and fabric and pulling a rather large room together is amazing.
The first trip we purchased most of the major items, enough for us to be able to live there and enjoy the condo all winter and entertain. Over this spring and summer Lee and I finished the condo with all the fun things. Beautiful area rugs, art work, mirrors and some fabulous accent pieces.
