Joye Adams graduated from Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC with a degree in Family Consumer Science Education. Her degree took her into the world of education and Joye became a teacher at South East Magnet Raleigh High School. She taught home economics, interior design, sewing and nutrition to 9th-12th grade students for three years. Her passion for fashion and design led Joye to the world of retail where she became a store manager for an international women's intimate apparel organization. Wanting to merge her interior design skills with style and fashion, Joye relocated to Greensboro and joined Furnitureland South. Joye has never met a stranger and her clients feel that way from the minute they meet her! She walks her clients through every step of the process and ensures they walk away from the project feeling fulfilled.
Joye loves to entertain and often hosts impromptu dinner parties or game nights!
Joye Adams is absolutely the best salesperson/designer I've ever had the pleasure to work with! Joye was able to understand what I was looking for with only a few questions and she went way, way beyond expectations to find exactly what I wanted while keeping my budget in mind. And she made the process so fun!
I highly recommend Joye Adams and look forward to working with her in the future. She is delightful, creative and highly knowledgeable about the store's many product lines. I walked out the door saying, "Wow! She was great!" - Annie C.
