Raised as a preacher's daughter, Christi Hill has lived in many parts of Eastern North Carolina, although she calls Clinton, NC home. As an art graduate from James Sprunt Community College, Christi started her career in the fashion industry. As an avid DIY guru, Christi was drawn into real estate and construction where she learned all the ins and outs of building a home. She started remodeling and designing homes for clients in North and South Carolina, Virginia and Maryland. Her ability to work remotely with clients is one of her strongest talents. Always one for a challenge, Christi decided to switch gears and joined a luxury, high end, sports car dealership, where she sold Ferraris, Aston Martins, Porsches and Maseratis. Her passion for design never left, and Christi joined Furnitureland South to continue helping her clients turn their vision into a reality. Christi loves when football season arrives and never misses a game, college or pro! She is just as passionate about renovating homes and loves slinging a hammer any chance she gets!
I absolutely love the furniture and the choices we had. Christi Hill did an outstanding job of making sure it fit in our rooms with my roughly drawn sketches.
Here in Indiana, there are no choices. We wanted deep seated chairs but not overstuffed. We wanted it made in America, too. We need our own color choices and lots of ideas. I refuse to buy from a catalog as I have been offered here I need to sit in the chair. That should be an absolute for anyone. I also needed time to decide, not hurry for a promotional sale.
The hotel fees were worth it! With the lack of furniture in Indiana, I didn't even care about the price anymore. My husband is 6 feet 7 inches and is tired of falling out of little chairs. We are also tired of cushions that fall apart after a month. I would not hesitate to return to FLS and do this again. We also want to keep jobs in America and have some regulation on what is in the product we buy. We are proud to tell friends these chairs were made in North Carolina. Thank you! - Chris
