Furnitureland South's 40th Anniversary Dining Table Giveaway
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY and a purchase does not increase your chances of winning. Sweepstakes begins on November 2, 2009 and ends December 31, 2009. Open only to US residents who are 18 years old as of the date of the random drawing for prize (see below). Employees of Furnitureland South, Inc., Millender Furniture Company or their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and members of the immediate family or household of each are not eligible to participate.
2. HOW TO ENTER. Participants may enter in the store, online or offline. (A) To enter in the store: Visit Furnitureland South at 5635 Riverdale Drive, Jamestown, NC and complete and submit the entry forms found in the gallery ("Store Entry"). (B) To enter online go to furniturelandsouth.com and click on the promotional 40th Anniversary Dining Table Giveaway box on the bottom of the website homepage. Register at http://www.furniturelandsouth.com/your-dining-style.php. (C) To enter offline, legibly hand print your name, address, daytime phone number and the words "Furnitureland South – 40th Anniversary Dining Table Giveaway" on a 3" by 5" card (the "Entry Form") and place the Entry Form either (i) in a #10 envelope with first class postage affixed and deposit it in the U. S. Mail to Furnitureland South (attn: 40th Anniversary Dining Table Giveaway Contest), P.O. Box 1550, Jamestown, NC 27282 ("US Mail Entry"). US Mail Entries must be postmarked by 5:00 pm on Monday, December 28, 2009 and received by December 30, 2009. Store Entries must be deposited by 5:00 pm on Thursday, December 31, 2009. Online entries must be submitted by 5:00 pm on Thursday, December 31, 2009. Each Entry, by whatever means, must be submitted separately. Entries made by mass duplication, automatic, robotic, computer generated, or programmed method, or through any sweepstakes entry, notification, or related service, or in any manner not in compliance with the requirements of these Official Rules are invalid and will be disqualified. For All US Mail and Store Entries, no photocopies or mechanically reproduced Entry Forms are allowed. More than one entry per person is permitted, however there is a limit of one Entry (by any means) per day and one person per email address. Furnitureland South, ("Sponsor") is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete submissions by whatever media or unauthorized human intervention, which may limit an entrant's ability to participate in this Sweepstakes. Participants assume all risk of damaged, lost, late, misdirected, postage-due, incomplete or illegible Entry Forms. Entries are void if altered, counterfeited, incomplete, mutilated, tampered with or torn. All Entry Forms submitted become the sole property of the Sponsor, will not be returned and may be used in Sponsor's mailing lists. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the online portion of this Sweepstakes (or the entire Sweepstakes) should any difficulty or other causes beyond its control, corrupt the administration, security or fair and proper play of the Sweepstakes, at which time, Sponsor will conduct random drawings from among all eligible entries received at the time of the Sweepstakes termination. By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant represents and warrants that all information provided by him/her is true, accurate, and complete as of the date of entry.
3. DRAWING. The winners will be selected by random drawing. The drawing will be held on January 4, 2010. The winner will be notified by phone or, if entrant provides an email address, by email on or before January 15, 2010. Winner will bear the cost for shipping prizes via common carrier. Winners will be responsible for insurance, other shipping fees or any other costs or expenses not identified in these Rules. Furnitureland South is not responsible for any damages, loss, or theft of the prize whatsoever, either during shipping or after receipt of prize.
4. DISCLAIMER. By accepting prize, winner agrees that Furnitureland South, and its advertising agencies, affiliates, officers, directors, agents and employees (the "Released Parties") are not responsible or liable for any claims arising in connection with any injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from or in connection with the acceptance, possession or use of the prize or from participation in the Sweepstakes or related activities. Limit one prize per household. The Released Parties assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to participant's or to any other person's computer relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with these Sweepstakes. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes or by any human or other error which may occur in the processing of entries in this Sweepstakes. Prize winners agree that Sponsor neither has made nor is responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize.
5. GENERAL CONDITIONS. This Sweepstakes and random drawing are being conducted under the supervision of the Sponsor. Participants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. By accepting prize, winners agree that Sponsor may use their names, addresses, likenesses and/or prize information for advertising and promotional purposes (except where otherwise prohibited) without limitation or further compensation. Winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility within 10 calendar days of notification. In the event of non-compliance with these Official Rules or if the winner cannot be reached at the phone number on the Entry Form or if the prize is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternative winner selected in the random drawing. Prizes are not transferable. No cash or prize substitutions except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize(s) of equal value due to prize unavailability or other circumstances beyond its control. The winner is solely responsible for any local, state or federal taxes, tariffs, and any other fees or costs connected with any prize. Sponsors are not responsible for any error in the printing, the offering or the administration of the sweepstakes, or in the announcement of the prize. Sponsors reserve the right to cancel or modify the sweepstakes if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the sweepstakes, as determined by the Sponsors in their sole discretion. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited. If any provision of these Official Rules is found to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severed from these Official Rules and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
