Basque Cocktail Table

Product Description

Hemingway stopped at Burguete, a small Basque town near Pamplona, to fish for trout as part of his trip to the Feast of San Fermin in the summer of 1924. Jake Barnes, the narrator of The Sun Also Rises, goes to Burguete with his friend Bill Gorton before the bullfights. Not since Ernest Hemingway discovered bullfighting in Spains Basque region had this part of Spain been so much in the American eye.
