The Winterthur Museum owns the original which Kindel has faithfully reproduced in Mahogany with many sculpted, flush joints.   • The Philadelphia Easy Chair with hand-carved solid Mahogany legs is a reproduction, circa 1750, from the Winterthur Museum. Like many of the finest Queen Anne-style chairs made in Philadelphia in the mid-18th century, this one features backward-raked stump rear legs, and arms made of two scrolls, one vertical and one horizontal, which meet to outline a flat C-shaped scroll. The arm must be hand carved by Kindel craftsmen to accurately reproduce this C scroll. A closely related chair was sold at Sothebys in 1986 for $1,175,000.

  • Ribbon grain, Mahogany veneers adorn the front of the Gramercy Bar Cabinet from the Robert AM Stern Collection. Compound angles on the outer frame are veneered with a cross-grained Mahogany veneer. The inner angle of the frame features white, Maple inlay lines. The interior of the cabinet is accentuated by a grey glass or mirrored back panel. There are two grey glass, adjustable shelves in the upper section as well as one fixed shelf of grey glass framed in Mahogany. Below is a full wine rack, 4 tray drawers and one adjustable shelf. The interior lighting is on a dimmer switch.
