With a breathtaking view of Times Square and Rockefeller Center the Penthouse at 1600 Broadway is one of the top destinations for members of Private Escapes, one of the country's premier luxury resort clubs. Sara Auran, the club's corporate staff designer, has worked with Stephanie on several of their unique upscale properties to create interiors of prestige.
The challenge was to create a warm and inviting feel for vacationing members, while retaining the integrity of the contemporary design. The building's sleek exterior combined with its modern interior features established the contemporary design for the furnishings.
Stephanie created an inviting and contemporary interior using dark colors for the fully upholstered pieces and a patterned rug. The interior's contrasting natural light, abundant windows and stark white walls present the perfect back drop.
