This fall Furnitureland South and the DHP in Design program had the pleasure of going to Fall Market with a great group of Charlotte, North Carolina designers, and receiving a visit from Lecy Custom Interiors' furniture shopping tour group from Minnetrista, MN.

Fall Market Review

On October 21st, we were delighted to have several designers from Charlotte, North Carolina join us for a day at Fall Market! We picked the designers up in Charlotte in our Furnitureland South mini-bus and set off for a fun day to review the latest furnishings at some of our favorite showrooms.

We visited Bolier, Bentley Churchill, Anderson & Daishi, Vanguard, and Henredon. We then traveled to Furnitureland South to meet with the President of Millender Furniture for a brief presentation on all Millender has to offer designers and their clients.

Exhausted by this time, we finished the day with a lovely dinner at Southern Roots, known for their gourmet take on classic Southern fare, near the Furnitureland South campus.

The day was educational, inspiring, and fun. Everyone had a wonderful time and we are looking forward to doing it again next fall!

A Successful Shopping Trip!

Lecy Custom Interiors from Minnetrista, MN brought their annual furniture shopping tour group to Furnitureland South for the first time this fall. Several new homebuyers came prepared with lists to furnish their homes and were amazed at the selection and low prices offered at Furnitureland South.

During the 3-day shopping excursion, the group had a lot of fun and many selections were finalized. They all left happy and promising to return again next year. Thanks to Ruth Lecy for making the trip!
