Design Consultant Tommy Harrold received a visit from Dora Capio and Kim Everett with Bayonne Golf Club. They needed to furnish the clubhouse, pro shop, and lounges. Tommy’s clients wanted an Old-World Elegance feel, with a focus on Marge Carson pieces.
Overall, the process took 3 weeks—Dora and Kim visited Tommy on three separate occasions, each for one week, and stayed at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, North Carolina. He guided them through Furnitureland South to pieces they adored, based on their preferred style of Old-World Elegance. Some of the manufacturers chosen in addition to Marge Carson were Habersham, Theodore Alexander, Woodard Landgrave, Harden, Hickory White, Pearson, Sarreid, and Vanguard. The lighting selected throughout was by Fine Art Lamps, adding the finishing touch of elegance.
The process of selecting fabrics was very detailed and extensive, particularly when choosing for the Marge Carson pieces—this process alone took the team a few days of work. In an attempt to visualize the big picture for the space, Tommy had the Floor Design team at Furnitureland move pieces from one building to another to help Dora and Kim visualize the finished space. Tommy values giving his clients World Class Service, and going the extra mile is part of his personal creed.
Tommy is honored that his finished work on the Bayonne Golf Club has been featured in print and on television around the world. He welcomes projects ranging from small, one-room transformations to second vacation homes—no project is too large or too small for Tommy.
