Safavieh’s Bohemian Collection is all natural fiber, consisting of an exquisitely fine jute pile handknotted into an all cotton foundation. Jute is grown without fertilizer or pesticides and is both recyclable and biodegradable as is the cotton. The high quality jute selected for these rugs has an innate sheen and softness which is enhanced by repeated washing and brushing by Safavieh artisans. Safavieh brings fashion excitement to the eco friendly rug category via simple cut pile patterns and muti-color earth tone hues, combined with a uniquely lustrous finish.
The Organica Collection
Fashion meets sustainability in Safavieh’s new organica collection. These rugs are hand knotted of 100% high quality jute pile on a cotton foundation. The biodegradable and recyclable jute plant is fast growing, without the use of fertilizers or pesticides. After harvesting, the highest quality fiber is then twice washed and brushed to further enhance sheen and softness. Safavieh artisans then create rugs with unique patterns, ribbed textures, unrivaled touch and luster.
These products are recyclable and biodegradable.
