OVERWHELMING!
This is a term I hear most often when I first greet clients during their initial visit to Furnitureland South. And with over one million square feet of showroom space, it is a word that will most likely describe your shopping experience unless you follow a few simple tips I have outlined below. Keep in mind furniture shopping should be as enjoyable as shopping for diamonds, and more rewarding than shopping for a new car!

Pinpoint the style of home furnishings you prefer. Don't know your style? No problem. That's where my complimentary design service will help us identify the home furnishings to fit your lifestyle. Are you a busy mom with children? Then you need durable furniture that not only says, "Welcome Home!" but will stand the test of time and grape juice. Perhaps you are looking for elegant and sophisticated surroundings where dinner parties and champagne toasts are customary. Then I will lead you to contemporary designs or timeless elegance pieces.

Start with one category of furniture.This will create a domino effect on the rest of your home furnishings and accessories. Is it the bedroom that needs waking up? Then start with the bed. Or is creating a living space outdoors more important? Then let's start in our Outdoor Gallery, where we can choose from wicker, rattan or cast iron furniture. Once a look is established in one room, then the flow to finishing off the rest of the home becomes less ... what was that word? Oh yes, overwhelming.

Bring resources. Floor plans, room dimensions, wood and carpet samples, photographs, window treatments, whatever the inspiration for the room might be, bring it! We can start with these items and build on them. That's where my expertise comes in to play as I create layouts of your rooms that will help with space planning and furniture selection.
