At Furnitureland South, professional Design Consultants are the key to ensuring a successful world-class shopping experience for all of our customers. To prepare for this vital role, new hires participate in a comprehensive three-month training program, during which they are introduced to the many departments, processes and standards that drive the World’s Largest Furniture Store. During this training period, there are opportunities to shadow seasoned professionals and to apply newly acquired knowledge to one-on-one customer interactions.
After the initial three-month training period, our Design Consultants continue to strengthen their education through skill-building workshops and weekly product training with manufacturing partners. There is always an opportunity to grow.
In-Home Delivery Drivers
Furnitureland South can state with confidence that the set-up and proper placement of our customers’ home furnishings will be handled with the utmost care and professionalism by one of the best delivery teams in the industry. To successfully achieve these goals, Furnitureland South offers its in-home Delivery Drivers a combination of on-the-job and classroom training, as well as job shadowing prior to hitting the road. Once an employee successfully completes all of the new-hire training requirements, they will have opportunities for continuous training on a quarterly basis, including updates on DOT regulations, safety standards and other industry-required knowledge.See Career Opportunities
