Furnitureland South teams up with Vanguard Furniture to launch Thom Filicia’s New Home Collection and to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure® - NC Triad Affiliate.
Jamestown, North Carolina, February 10, 2010 -- Furnitureland South is excited to host celebrity Interior Designer Thom Filicia on Saturday, February 13, from 1:00-4:00 pm. Filicia will be signing copies of his book Thom Filicia Style, and will officially launch the new Thom Filicia Home Collection with Vanguard Furniture at Furnitureland South. The first 100 attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Filicia’s book. Guests will also have an opportunity to register for the chance to win $5,000* of furniture from the Thom Filicia Home Collection. Thom will draw the winning entry form at the conclusion of Saturday’s event at 4:00 pm.
In addition, representatives from the North Carolina Triad Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® will be present to accept donations to help support the fight against breast cancer in honor of Thom’s mother. Furnitureland South is proud to partner with our local affiliate to increase awareness and to help raise money for women facing breast cancer in our community.
