Furnitureland South is proud to announce its donation of home furnishings to Triad Health Project for their annual Designers Care fundraiser.
Jamestown, North Carolina, May 12, 2011 -- Furnitureland South, the World’s Largest Home Furnishings Showplace, has donated more than $14,000 worth of home furnishings and accessories to Triad Health Project’s annual fundraiser entitled Designers Care. The event kicks off with a Grand Opening Gala preview on Friday, June 3rd and opens to the public on Saturday, June 4th and June 11th from 10:00am - 6:00pm and Sunday, June 5th and June 12th from 12:00pm - 4:00 pm.
Designers Care is an annual furniture tag sale and fundraiser featuring home furnishings and accessories priced significantly below wholesale. Shoppers will find hundreds of pieces of first-quality furniture and other products for the home donated by a wide range of furniture manufacturers, showrooms, retailers, and designers. Some of the manufacturers represented in 2009 included Tenango, Lexington, Chelsea House, Drexel Heritage, Adesso, Century Furniture, Henredon, O.Henry House, and other national brands.

Proceeds from Designers Care benefit Triad Health Project. Triad Health Project provides emotional and practical support to individuals living with HIV/AIDS, to their loved ones, and to those at risk for HIV/AIDS; implements strategies to educate those at risk and the community about HIV/AIDS; and advocates locally, regionally, and nationally for individuals and groups infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
