As an employee of Furnitureland South, we want you to have a long and happy career, and know that your physical and mental well-being are important in ensuring that happens. With that in mind, Furnitureland South supports a variety of wellness initiatives in the workplace.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina

• Blue Points is a Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina program offered to employees with the Blue Options 1-2-3 or Blue Options HAS medical plan through Furnitureland South. This program provides a variety of wellness tools including an online health risk assessment and wellness training topics, telephonic health coaches, and incentives for your participation.
• Blue Extras is a savings program offered through BCBS of NC, which includes Linkwell Health Savings, a health-related retail coupon program, and Vita Blue, a vitamin and mineral discount program.
• Blue365 is a web-based BCBS of NC tool that offers information and discounts on healthcare, healthcare products, recreation and travel.
• Health Line Blue is a 24-hour health information line available to participants of our group health plan through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. Specially trained nurses will answer medical questions, offer support and provide free educational videos and brochures on a variety of health topics. Health Line Blue also includes the Dialog Center, an online resource that includes an encyclopedia of medical information, a health risk assessment survey and more.

Indoor Walking Track
Walking is an excellent form of exercise and stress relief. Furnitureland South supports walkers with our indoor walking track located on the 2nd floor of the Distribution & Service Center. Employees can utilize this track free of charge from 6:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Wellness Seminars
Throughout the year, Furnitureland South hosts wellness experts who speak on a variety of topics. Past speakers have discussed Diabetes, Nutrition, and Stress Management. These 1-hour lunchtime seminars are informational, fun and free-of-charge to all of our employees.
