We attribute much of Furnitureland South’s continued success to our unique culture and people. By encouraging individual development, teamwork and community involvement, we strive to maintain a positive environment in which to work and grow.
A Company with Heart
We’re truly proud of the generosity and kindness demonstrated by Furnitureland South employees. In addition to our corporate giving program, opportunities to participate in charitable projects are plentiful. Our generous employees have built a Habit for Humanity house, organized teams to participate in JDRF’s Walk To Cure Diabetes, assembled care packages for military troops serving overseas, and held numerous events to raise money for the local Salvation Army.
In addition to showcasing sustainable products, Furnitureland South also supports an internal “Green Committee” comprised of representatives from our many departments. Members of the committee research, share and implement ideas for creating a more efficient, environmentally-friendly workplace.
Our workforce and clientele come from every part of the world, and represent rich and diverse backgrounds. As an equal opportunity employer, Furnitureland South is committed to supporting the growth and development of an open and respectful workplace. All associates and applicants will be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards. We do not discriminate on the basis of any classification protected by applicable law including sex, race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, or veteran/military status.
